I bought this earlier this year intending it for a project, I have done nothing towards that. So have therefore reluctantly decided to sell this TT.

It comes with 6 arm boards, 2 original MDF I believe that have been cut for an SME and a single hole that could be about 20mm Dia.
There are 4 Black Acrylic boards of 2 different thicknesses. The thicker of the pair shown in the image.

These are very rare items indeed and have not seen one for sale in a long time.
The stasis is a huge TT, with lead and concrete lining, twin armboards and in high gloss black, it runs on a teflon sleeved bearing, with a very high quality motor that keeps great time
The construction of the main body is of Lead and Concrete.
It must weigh in at about 30 - 40Kg

The 2 Arm Pods are both internally damped with the felt type material and are also isolated from the main motor / platter unit.
Motor and power suppy are all internal and working fine, it keeps excellent time.
The platter is a triple layer Glass and a Felt material sandwidch.

It also has a screw on record clamp.
So all this needs is an arm or 2 to get things going.
It will accommodate any arm up and including 12".

The turntable is postable.
I would perfer pickup from Redcar in North East UK.

If Delivery is required the buy must organise a courrier and insurance as required.

I will buy a wooden crate and packing materials and box this up. The cost will be approx £65

Hi Andy,

It's a shame that you're being forced to push this one so hard, as it is a fantastic turntable! :)

The problem, I suspect, is twofold:

1) There is no arm included, therefore it's not 'plug in & play', and so potential buyers have to factor in the cost of a tonearm (and cartridge).

2) For most, the Le Tallec will be an unknown quantity.

However, for anyone with a grand to spare who's in the market to start a new turntable project, and fancies something different, no doubt of the highest quality, I am confident that they'd end up with both an utter bargain and one of the best T/Ts that money can buy.

If you want my advice, rather than continually discounting the price to ridiculous levels or giving stuff away, in order to tempt someone, I'd use the £200 you've lost from the price you originally wanted (from when it was first advertised) to buy an inexpensive tonearm, such as an RB250 or 300, or an old SME 3009.

Fit the arm, and then potential buyers will at least have a complete T/T (minus cartridge) to tempt them, without the worry of spending money on a tonearm and T/T they're not sure that they're going to like... If the T/T is sold as near enough 'plug in & play', people will be more willing to take a chance on it! :cool:

Cheers for your thoughts on the TT.
I had been thinking along the same lines myself recently.
Something to get someone going with the TT.
Anyway plenty to think about, have a lot on my mind of late.
Lots happening in my home life and work, some good and some not so.
Starting a new job in a week. Working for Nissan in Sunderland, a good thing for me that one.
