Wanted - Bookshelf Speakers

Anyone got any nice sounding small bookshelf speakers suitable for a Lepai LP-2020A+ chip amp.

"Top Man" Les at Avondale really kindly sent two of these to my daughters for Christmas (for their Ipods) and I would like to find two pairs of speakers to go with them.

Best if I can collect somewhere close to Sheffield if you have anything suitable that you would like to sell.

Chris - if you can come and pick them up (I'm just outside Sleaford) I've a pair of little Mission 760's you can have for 20 quid.

They're not mint but they work perfectly.

Just a bit too far away but -

if any one else has another pair of speakers either near Sheffield or on the way from Sheffield to Sleaford I could kill two birds with one stone! (I need two pairs of speakers, Richards 760's would be brill and another pair).

a friend has several pairs of small speakers that need passing on .

from memory a

pair of wharfdale diamonds ..mk1s [spring terminals need replacing ]

goodman one ten [?]

and another pair as old ..

these are all in good working order ..in original boxes the diamonds great sounding speakers and are worth £15 as is or £25 if I fix new binding posts ..

Wharfedale Diamond MK1s are fantastic speakers for their size, a revelation I might add at normal listening levels. Wish I'd never gotten rid of the pair that were here in some respects :rolleyes:

I think that those Diamonds will be just the ticket and I will take them without the repair to the post.

All I now need to do if fix up a time when both you and Gromit (Richard) are around.

What time of day suits you both? I am quite flexible and can do most times.
