:newbie: Macca from AU has arrived :newbie:
Hello Sam/Sammy from Australia here. When i was young i used to admire some of my friends gear ( had stock old brands like Krielser etc) in the 80s.
I have massed a collection mostly from Ebay, some from online advert places like gumtree, and also from newspapers. My gear is made up of Technics, Marantz, Philips, Pioneer and Yamaha. I am fan of mostly 80s music:lolsign::yay: with some classical also.
my first amplifer from the 80s is my Techncs SU-G50. The cheap plastic bananas broke, and was if a dry joint but intermitant cut out, so I got some basic gold terminals from ebay, and no problem since. I know longer have my Sony cds players, but my best one, its really good was the 338ESD, i swapped it with my friend for a Techncis SL-P990, which is a great cd also. Apart from hifi, like hiking, computers, weather  (well snow, amazing how rare iti s in AU outside the alps)
