Ok,
Looking for possible swap/deal for my Quad 11 valve amps, got these totally refurbished by Paul at Classique Sounds under a year ago, every resistor/capacitor replaced. GEC KT66's and GZ32 Mullard and smaller Mullard valves, working every day, in good cosmetic condition. Asking price of £765.
I would prefer a muscle/meaty/grunty power amp, class 'A' would be good, or maybe an intregrated amp (?), but I don't need a pre-amp! I can maybe stretch to around £900 including selling my Quad 11's. Cash adjustment either way etc.
Something like a pair of Michell Alecto mono blocks - Meridian 557 - Nakamichi PA7E - Unico DM hybrid - XTZ AP100 - Threshold Statis - Densen - Classe Audio - Electrocompaniet, even any older vintage kit.
So what have you to offer, swap or deal please..?
