Moving my kit about my rack (in a hurry ) and the toslink cable caught on one of the legs of my rack and broke a part of the socket off...

Basically a section of the plastic surround that grips the plug has broken off and the cable doesn't grip the socket.
I feed the digital out from my plasma to the toslink and this is losing me Caiman goodness on my Virgin box and all the DNLA access movies from the server via my TV!

How do I repair (get it repaired?) the socket so I can have my movie and Tv Caiman magic back?

thanks.

Gaz (feeling silly)

As a stopgap how about BluTak?

Chris, like your thinking mate. :)

The cables "works" if you shoogle (scots word) it about and it makes a connection, but maybe blutak will hold it place for now till I can get it repaired.

I'll PM Stan, thanks Mark.
