Marantz PM4

I'm on the look out for a change of amplifier, presently selling my refurbished Quad 11 valve amps.

I've heard good things about the Marsntz PM4, I know it runs in both class A and class A/B.

I would appreciate any advice/experience/thoughts with owners using the (iconic) PM4.

It's a PM94 for sale, not a PM4.

Fantastic amp in all respects but they are getting a bit long in the tooth now.

Try to find one that has been recapped/rebuilt, or negotiate the asking price plenty if it hasn't been sorted because it will need doing some time soon.

I agree with Frank, in that a recap might be due on some PM4's.

They do sound very nice though on the 15W class A setting & they love Living Voice speakers, I've fancied one as a spare amp for a while. Also works very well with Snell & Audio Note speakers.
