Excellent documentry. Looking forward to second part 21.00 tonight. It was followed by BBC footage of Beatles covers. What a Beatles weekend - Macca also showed up and did Interview and signed a shirt (I think for Children in Need) on the Grand Prix qualifying coverage. Eddie Jordan was so excited he called him George. George was also a big motor racing fan and friend of Jordan.

A far more interesting program for me was the one that followed. It is called ...Sings the Beatles (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00ml7p5/..._Sings_the_Beatles/). My favourite clip was of Richie Havens giving his rendition of a Beatles track. Absolutely must watch. I had forgotten how great Richie was on the guitar, or that he had been the opening act at Woodstock. Well worth viewing if you are in the UK and can get access to the BBC server.

Agreed about Richie Havens - saw him live about forty years ago in Manchester. An excellent concert.

Used to have a copy of Richard P. Havens, 1983, but can't seem to find it!
