About 9 months ago I put up my TT on a wall shelf I used just raw plugs not the brightest idea The weight of the Salvation was just to much and around 1am in the morning the shelf broke away from the wall. It was a time when I still had not found a job and when it happened I thought my whole system was going to f----d :doh: I think that day I was the lowest I ever been in my life
Anyway the issues were not as bad as I thought a bit of repairs by Vic and myself everything got back together over time.
Anyway shelf back up and been up for a week now without any issues
I am using a Sansui AU6500 as phono preamp using Y leads to connect the amp and sub plates
Its not ideal and still a long why to go to get it sounding anywhere close to what it is capable off

Lovely TT by the way, while the arm could never be called a looker I can appreciate it for the engineering - class act :cool:

Its ok at some point I go pure native 192 its quite musical but nothing to compare it with to say how good I think my balanced power supply helps a lot

The TT is stunning come to Scalford and you hear it with a London reference For me the arm all about function and I would never consider a traditional arm any more
I used to have a silver wired SME4 and lets say just a different ball park

I totally agree with you about the T3 Pro. There is no going back for me. I don't want to offend anyone, so I'll not say anything else.

How do you like that mat? It reminds me of the Transcriptors.

I really like the matt Vic and Clive tried a lot of mats with the Salvation and the Reso matt came out the best, it just allows the music to play.
It is a shame the arm is not taken seriously in the UK I actually think with the modern design of the Salvation the arm really works well visually.
