Hello Chaps,
One of my cartridges is the Ortofon MC 30 super, a delicate and articulate cartridge, but I always felt it lacked punch in the bass and wasn't very musically involving, I have used it through different Pre-amps with similar results.
However this weekend I had the opportunity to evaluate the new Albarry MCA 11 head amp, WOW!! it's fantastic, now this cartridge is not only delicate and articulate but the bass is beautifully tuneful and the musical enjoyment was so good I was listening to records till 4am.
It's battery powered and is good for about 150 on one charge,
Hopefully those of you that enjoy vinyl will give yourself the chance to sample this wonderful little box.
