Does anyone have a Naim power amp? A NAP110 or NAP160 Chrome Bumper finish from the mid 80s would be ideal.

I have a Naim Nap 120.

Very rare and I think better than a 110 and 140.

Fully serviced by the previous owner, who lives on Pinkfish.

In excellent condition and sounds great.

Thanks.

The NAP120 is in a different league to the CB 110 which followed. I have to be careful in my condemnation of the CB160, as I replaced a tired Radford SC22/STA25 with one, driven by a 12S and then a 32.5/Hicap... Pushed my BC1's really well, as CB Naims do, but hurt into 'briks of the period. I have no idea if the harshness can be fully tamed with a recap and setup these days. perhaps if you bought a CB160, fitted bigger transformer and possibly NCC200 boards later, you may have a half decent amp :)

...and there's me just having acquired a CB 160!

mind you, a serviced 160 with Avondale minicap 6 modules, so hoping for good things.

The NAP120, was that Malcolm's?

Hi,

The Nap 120 was Malcolm's.

I have an Avondale amp on trial hence this posting.

Carl.
