Just a quick thank you to John for sharing some time to listen to his system. System highlights were his Hawthorne Duets and Trans-Fi Salvation turntable.
John's loudspeakers major on clarity and electrostatic-like sound staging. The visual outcome of his own-designed baffle-less "baffle" was really appealing and provided the ultimate expression of the term "open baffle".
The Trans-Fi turntable was a real treat, a unique drive design and powered the music to produce a room-filling expressive sound that gave a very involving and riveting outcome.
I always like to hear different hi-fi approaches and John's system is a class example in a very exclusive category.
