Hey folks, is anyone using one one of these carts?

I have just bought a low mileage one on the bay, (hopefully as a set up from my 2m blue)

Any thoughts on their sound compared to the ortofons?

Cheers

Warmer, mellow.

Very nice cartridge - I have one and compared to its natural competitor, the Ortofon 2M Black (which I also have), it is a bit smoother and mellower.

I also found it to be quite arm-sensitive and prone to sounding a bit indifferent in some. Out of interest, I thought it sounded best in a Jelco SA-750D

Adam, do Nagaoka make it for Goldring? I did hear something to that effect once...

Sounds good then, thanks for the comments everyone. It's going on a fairly stock RB300, so hopefully it will work out well.

I was looking for a 2m black but finding a 2nd hand one isnt the easiest of tasks which is why iv ended up with this.

Yes I've heard this rumour too, but never had it confirmed or denied.

I use one on my jelco.. Prefer it to the 2m blue. Nice and quiet. don't feel the need to buy a 2m black any more.

Thats the sort of comment I was hoping for :)
