Hello all,

Yep a newbie here looking for an Rotel RP 3000 in working order trying to get one for a friends birthday present so in working condition would be ideal.

As cost is an issue so without an SME 3009 arm plinth. (Currently selling on ebay) No links to ebay unless by PM please.

Any advice is warmly welcome!

The Rotel RP 3000 looks brilliant as a present. Previously after a bid ended in a failed attempt was considering a Garrard Zero 100 sb instead and I think it may be a bit fiddly for the consumer of this deck and does not look as nice... Although I would happily own one myself!

Thanks Hamish I called them they only have a Garrard Zero 100 sb & and Torrens 125!

How much do the cheapest SME arms go for generally?

Neil our Supreme Darlek Facilitator was trying to sell a SME 'III' for a while it eventually went for 160 Earth pounds..As mention via PM get some to make you a blank SME pattern plate you could then get it drilled for whatever 9'' arm you choose to use.
