Hi Marco

On a previous thread you had some doubt about the internal volume of your Majors. The photos of the 'Majors' in the old Lockwood brochure link that were 210l volume, are a slightly different design to your ones with the front grill on the front ONLY.
Yours have the other type, where the grill cover goes right to the top of the front of the cab,and finishes a couple of inches back into the top panel.Just MAY be a bigger internal volume on your speakers.Would you have done the calculation on that? 44by27by18 inch. to litres.
It is difficult to get much info in any of this range. How big and what are 'Universals' for instance.

Be interesting to know.

REGARDS Adrian

Hi Marco

Haven't mastered the links yet.Tried over and over. It's only easy when you know how.Two kind people did try to help me out with that(Thanks !) But it's not there yet.
I'll have to get a mate round to show me how.

Regards Adrian

It's on Post 37 and I think its on page 5.(Marcos journey to Tannoy land)

Hi
Thanks for that. That's the one.Post number 37.It's the upper link of the two shown.

I just thought it might have been of interest as there are variations on Lockwood cabs and names and sizes, and not much original info on them generally.

Adrian
