SL12 itis, strange disease but is it cure-able?

Well I have my platter nearly finished, a new Mk II linear power supply with choke input and external regulator almost done so I thought may as well buy a brand spanking Tek to fit it all to, thought it would take for ever to track one down but just happened I spotted one on a forum and luckily never been out of the box, sneak preview here...
