Hello!
Maybe you can tell me over the sound characteristics of the LFD Poweramps?
Are this stable at any load over the entire frequency ?
And the 3D image?
Thank you!
Regards

Clean, neutral, sweet and open. They image well. More like a good valve amp than a 'raspy' SS.

Because of their relatively low output they are best used with easy going speakers like Harbeth and Tannoy DC. Probably more suited to classical, folk, jazz, rather than head-banging rock music.

..... Probably more suited to classical, folk, jazz, rather than head-banging rock music.

Hmmm.

I must admit that I don't agree with the underlying logic of that sentiment.

Not all classical listeners favour a pipe & slippers approach. I like my classical tunes to come alive with vibrant & dynamic energy and musical presence & pizzaz! :)

I've never heard a LFD amp that could do this, regardless of power output. I've owned a LS2 pre, and heard many LFD-based demonstrations at Hifi Shows. The LFD 'house sound' is too relaxed for me. They never seem to allow the musical excitement of a recording to fully come through.

But I know that many folk prefer a more relaxed presentation.

Just my opinion. YMMV. :)

Hello Jerry!
Thank you very much for your description.
I like hear relaxed, but if on the track is a dynamic an punchy part,i like feel this realistic too.
