Hello chaps, after a bit of advise again please.I have just aquired a 2M blue cart for my very basic Genie 3 (Thanks Zoidburg),I am astonished by the difference that it has made to be quite honest with you.Now the question is do I add the speedbox 11 to the equation or upgrade the whole chebang?
Ok I understand that I will never be a rich bloke so my budget for such a move would be in the region of £300.I could put the standard cart back on the genie and release some extra for the cause if feasable, but would also like to save a little bit to buy some new records.
I am hearing things on a very well played copy of Bob Marleys Uprising that I have never heard before and I must of played it a fair few times over the 31 years that I have owned it,ok I,ll stop babbling and let the experts guide me.
Thanks for the advice

Hi Paul,

Im glad your happy with the 2m blue mate. I started out with a debut and quickly realised the same sort of thing as you, if it was me I would look to sell the genie and standard cartridge and maybe move to a better 2nd hand deck using the 2m blue. Im sure there will be plenty of people around here that can advise you on 2nd hand TT options. What about the rpm 4 currently in the classified section?
