Is there anyone here living in or near Ayrshire that can recommend any record shops? The only place that I know of is Valhalla in Irvine.

I've been popping in to browse Daves shop every month or so, and usually pick up some good stuff at good prices.

I went down last Wednesday and picked up ;

Daevid Allen - DividedAlienPlayBax80

Daevid Allen - The Death Of Rock And Other Entrances

David Bowie - Rare

The Faces - The Best Of The Faces (double)

Bert Jansch - L.A. Turnaround (Charisma Porky A1-U,B1-U)

John Martyn - Inside Out (Pink rim)

All in great condition, and all for £25.00

If you're in or around Irvine it's well worth a visit.

Most of the vinyl is priced at £3.00 or £4.00 and even the rare stuff is reasonably priced. In fact the DividedAlien album is selling here on Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/Daevid-Allen-Divided-Alien-Playbax-80/release/371157) for £39.25.
