These are the beginning of my disposal of a large collection of Hifi based literature.
These digest size books, were a good source of information at the time for the Hifi connoisseur and are still a really good read if you are interested in - or own - top end Hifi. They discuss the theory and technology then give good reviews on all the best equipment available and the data sheet for each.
1) Receivers - no number – circa 1976
2) cassette decks – no number – circa 1975 (same age as me!)
3) Loudspeakers - no number – circa 1976
4) Amplifiers - no.6
5) cartridges and Headphones – no 13
6) Loudspeakers 3 – no15
7) Cassette decks and tapes 4 – no 17 – circa 1980
8) Turntables and tonearms 3 – no18
9) Cartridges and headphones – no 20
10) Cassette Decks and tapes -no29
11) Loudspeakers no 31 (circa 1983)
12) Cassette decks and tapes no 32
13) Cassette decks and tapes no 37
14) CD's and turntables no.40..... will these new fangled things make vinyl obsolete :-)
All the money from these sales will go to my favourite charity - Stray Aid - a charity that matches lost and found dogs with distraught,,,,then happy owners.:)
I will cover the postage as my contribution to the charity (probably £1.46 per book) and the rest is your contribution to the charity through my 'just giving' account.
You can't really lose, even if you don't like the book, you haven't lost anything, just given a bit of money to a worthy cause!
Please have a look at the list and if you want one or more 'bagsy' them on the forum. I will then PM you to let you know how much to put into the just giving account and to get your address.
At the minute I would like a charitable donation of £12 for each of these (delivered) and if there are no takers I will drop it each week:) I will also mail on trust and you can donate on receipt!
Please note all are in good condition, some excellent, some with a 1 cm piece removed from the back cover (to reduce vibration in a tonearm probably!!)
If you appreciate what I am doing here, please feel free to contribute to the charity anyway via my Just giving page - even if you don't fancy any books.

There will be more coming up including a load of 'hifi yearbooks' and Briggs books
Enjoy
