Suggestions for cart to fit SPU G headshell

A recent visitor trashed my ortofon SL15e cartridge. I'm very unlikely to find another, so any suggestions for a good cartridge that would fit into an SPU G headshell.

Budget would be £4-500.

Just as an aside would ANY ortofon cartridge fit into a G headshell?

Hello Ian,

I would have thought almost any cartridge having 1/2" fixings would fit into the SPU-G shell, provided they do not have too wide a body.

I assume that you use an Ortofon arm and thus would wish to continue to use the Ortofon headshell. However the bayonet coupling has the standard SME/EIA contact arrangement, so you could use one of the many alternative headshell designs.
