Recently my Technics 1210 M5G turntable developed a strange condition of having those dreaded vinyl pops and clicks appear every few seconds.
The bizarre thing was that it only appeared on the right channel.
I goggled this and found out that it was also experienced by other people out there in the WWW.
There were plenty of mixed answers along with lots of theory on cartridge alignment and what not...
I eventually fixed the problem by adding an extra 0.5g to my anti-skate setting.
My own theory is that the anti-skate spring on the Techics tonearm must have lost some of its tension.
So if you ever experience the same right channel noise problem, you can try my method which has worked for me.
