Hi All,
For those of you who enjoy most types of motor sport especialy Moto GP, i am sure you will find it as upsetting as i to hear that Marco Simoncelli has past away due to a Horrendous crash on the track this morning!
He was a brilliant rider and will be dearly missed.:(

Sounds like a horrific crash, not sure I want to view it.

2 Motorsport deaths in 1 week :(

Iv seen the crash and it's pretty shocking tbh. Such a shame, the moto gp world is a sadder place for the loss of Marco.

Now seen the crash, shocking and horrible. How did his helmet come off? Strap/clasp failure or not done up? wrong questions to be asking at this stage I know but that's an awful thing to happen.

Shocking!! I haven't watched it yet but he was always an exciting rider. He'll be dearly missed! :(

Very sad. A terrible loss and a horrendous accident. Have to feel for Edwards and Rossi too, they couldn't have done anything but must feel dreadful.

I had been playing moto gp 08 on th playstation racing against Marco`s AI rider in 250cc and then i switched on bbc2 to watch the race which was horribly surreal.
He was a great rider and Moto gp wont be the same without his great character.
Def on the cards to be a future champ.
I feel especially bad that his girlfriend and dad who were there. And Rossi. Dont think he will go to super bikes now. Probably retire from the grief.

Such a loss, given the chance I'd be more than happy to swap places with Marco so he could continue with his life - so young, so talented and such an entertainer, I didn't know him but I had utmost respect for him, I salute you Mr.

Deepest condolences to his Fiancée, father by his side, mother, friends and family.
