I just wanted to drop in and say hello as I am new to this forum.
I have a Digi96/8 Pro card in the box that I would like to sell and thought that asking people who actually knew what this is would be a good starting point :)


Anyhow, will pop in again soon with some more info.

Hi Jean-Paul, welcome to the forum :) That sounds like it could be some form of card to go into a PC by the sound of it, maybe 8 channels which would be good for AV? :scratch:

No idea, i'm just guessing ;)

Well, as an enthusiast I've been slowing collecting items, upgrading items as I go. I have a nice 5 channel surround receiver from JVC (100 watts RMS per channel <.8% THS.

Two front towers I picked up from RadioShack back in the day while I was working there through college and rear speakers that I bought in bits and pieces and put together myself ;)

Front channel is made of a lower wattage center channel and two full range speakers to give a nice full center channel sound.

12" 250watt RMS Sigma-Servo powered sub woofer (the glasses move in the cupboard
when there are explosions in movies).

Acoustic Research/Monster cables throughout and just upgraded to an HD plasma TV and Blu-Ray. Also picked up a WD box which is sweet because it lets you view your picts, plays HD videos, videos in different formats, ISOs of DVDs, lets you play your music and streams content off the web like youtube, netflix and a bunch of other stuff. It has optical and streams AC3/DTS which makes it all that much better.

Yeah, not the most expensive setup or high end equipment but for a guy on a budget I make good use of it all.
