I've had the dubious delights of long motorway trips on 3 of the last 4 Tuesday evenings, and found myself listening to Jamie's one-hour show. I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and he plays some great stuff, and is clearly very knowledgeable about jazz. This week featured a Maida Vale session with an act I've "bigged up" before - Trombone Shorty.
Well worth a spin on the iPlayer, if you're a jazz fan with an hour to kill. (Presumably UK only so sorry to any of our members abroad.)
A really good mix of jazz styles, both old and modern - probably "jazz by numbers" for proper jazz fanatics but for a heathen like me a very enjoyable 60 minutes.
