Heard about this on Radio 4 this morning and it sounded very good and may be of interest to some here?

Basically Thea Gilmore is releasing an album of previously unreleased lyrics by Sandy on 7th November called 'Don't Stop Singing'. The today programme clip is on the iPlayer for the next 7 days - the section starts at 2h 21m in and can be heard below;

Thanks Tim. that sounded really good.
Funnily enough, Thea and partner Nigel Stonier live locally here in Nantwich. They hold an annual Words and Music festival, which finished last weekend. Just some nights of music and poetry/ book readings around a few gigs in town.- this year included Stuart McConie and Mark Radcliffe doing stuff. I was a bit dissapointed to realise I would miss it this year as we had a weeks holiday away booked.
The highlight is always Thea's gig at the Crown Hotel..just a couple of hundred people, but a grand night.
I shall look forward to getting this new album when its out.
By the way, was just reading in Word Magazine, that she isn't taking any money for this album. Fair play to her.

That sounds interesting .... Maybe get a chance to see her at Pocklington ... They have a good bill ..all day Sunday .. Billy Bragg and Seth Lakeman as well .. amongst others ... oh! .. and lotsa beer .. :cool: .. could be a good day out .. :)
