With more than a little reluctance I'm offering this fantastic bespoke amp for sale now, having moved to a SET amp for horn speakers, for which this is way too powerful. With it's signature branding I'm hoping it can stay in the family :)
I'm asking £800, which includes a new set of Svetlana Winged-C KT88 valves.
It's a 30w Push-Pull dual mono on a shared chassis. Using the Yaquin MC100B with it's massive power supplies as a foundation, Anthony converted it from the original Integrated Triode/Ultra Linear format to a dedicated power amp with considerable refinement based on development for and with Marco; I say based because I don't know that it's exactly the same.
The original preamp input did not bypass the internal pre but does now and the multiple inputs are replaced with a single one. UL operation is also disconnected. Cosmetic conversions are with black acrylic panels and a single green power-on light centre front.
It retains the bold, dramatic presentation but musical expression and rhythmic drive are in a different league. Quite happy to show off / demo in a drivable distance.
