Been lurking on these forums for a long time and read them nearly everyday, a lot of info and helpful members on these forums from what I can see. Had some kit for sale so thought why not register and put it up for sale and at the same time, start contributing to the forums.

What music do you enjoy and what is your system

I've got nothing impressive compared to some of you guys here but for stereo listening, I'm running a pair of Mission 753 Freedoms powered by Arcam A85 and for my home theatre, am running a Yamaha DSP-AX863SE amp, Mordaunt Short 502 THX front Speakers, 504 THX centre and 506 THX Di-pole surrounds. Front speakers are Bi-Amped and they both have 10" subwoofers built in with their own amps to power them.

Music wise I'm literally into everything but mostly into Rnb, Slowjams, etc :)

Hi Teza, welcome to AoS :) I wouldn't go on the THX thing too much :eyebrows: It just means that the components should fit a certain parameter for home cinema ;)

Now while i happen to enjoy AV it has no relation to volume or quality to hifi systems.. It does mean it's not bad though & should be reasonable for music reproduction ;)

I already know that but people seem to get confused when I mention the Mordaunt Short 500 series so I just write THX down aswell:lol:.

Whilst they do sound fantastic for home cinema, their no slouch when it comes to music aswell and I have compared them to a lot of other speakers aswell, I've actually got a room full of speakers at the moment which I'll slowly be getting rid of!

I've got Quads, Bowers & Wilkins, Kefs, Missions, Spendor and a lot more and before you ask, yes thats a lot of speakers :ner:

What is the THX thing? 115Db or is it less between 40Hz & 20Khz...

Trust me, that's pretty easy...

How do you fancy 118Db @ 10Hz :ner: :lol: Coming soon to an AV place near you (maybe or not so near)...
