Tannoy Lancasters?
(Extremely) large buttock clamps from the Zambian section of the Berkhamsted teak fetishists society?
Marco.

Marco.
Got it in one Marco. Just ordered 4 gallons of teak oil for self injecting. Alternatively they could be a pair of Lancasters with 15" Golds.
They need to stay where they are for the moment until I can sell my Duevels and I'm also halfway through the build on my noddy OB speakers.
Tannoy Lancasters?
Sorry to cut in here, but was it you ian who had some Beovox 3800's for sale a long while ago on fleabay?? They're rare and a seller in Berko too..
P.S. I drove through Berkhamsted just a few weeks ago (I wanted to take the "old" route to see how much it's changed since being bypassed) - can't believe how it's changed - all the scrappy areas/older tyre places etc have been replaced with housing/flats etc and the trees have been allowed to grow :)

Dave,
I've had a bit of B&O kit over the years (and still have a B&O setup for my 2nd system) but no that wasn't me. I take it "The thing from Tring" is a historical reference rather than current. But yes there been lots of new stuff built and like everywhere else it is getting very overcrowded. The Berkhamsted mothers 4x4 road rage help group is expanding on a daily basis.

Oh no - not more bloody Tannoys on AoS?!
You need to change the forum name to AoT, Marco. ;)
... nice to see you here, Ian.

Cheers Jerry,
Been lurking for a while, but now spending more time here. I picked up the Tannoy's at a stonking bargain price which included pre/power/cdp/TT. By the time I've sold all the other bits the 15" golds will have cost me only a tad over £1k. I just couldn't resist even if they only stay a couple of months. That's assuming I ever get them out the box.

I can't believe that the only picture you've offered is on the top of the cabs while still in the boxes!!
That's just mean!!

Hey, about time to ;) I reckon the JR 150s need a bit of a holiday
They look in good condition, is there a small nick of veneer missing at the top back of one of them or is it me?
Good spot, yes there is a small nick, but otherwise in very good condition. Been on duty for a while now and I have to say, my Bella Luna's do everything just so much better. I had to try them (just to scratch the itch), but I don't think they will be around too much longer. Off on holiday next week and will probably put them up for sale when I get back.
