Sure these threads have been done to death, but searching for such a thread is serious needle in a haystack territory.

I don't even know the name for this type cable. Basically MP3 player (but not for that reason) to Phono.

I'm no looking to spend the earth & I absolutely won't be making one myself. Is there any Belkin style bargains to be had here?

Boring thread over. :)

This one's good and cheap with it... The standard phono-phono lead is entirely competent as well :)

Thanks Dave.

I've got one of those and went back to a really old Radio Shack (good old Tandy!) one that I got in the mid-90s as it sounded simply so much better. The eBay one was flat, undetailed and lacked stereo imagery.

EDIT - saying that, your link shows gold plated connectors, my lead is silver plated. Maybe it's a different lead in some ways.

Any other thoughts or links to old threads around this?

TBH spending £10 will not yield good results, the Black Rhodium ones are actually very good as I heard at the show last week, Oyaide even better but they cost a lot!

The Black Rhodium Rythm Musiclink is one I would say will do a good job.£45 with free delivery. (http://www.mains-cables-r-us.co.uk/i-pod-mp3-cables/202-black-rhodium-rhythm-musiclink-cable.html) special AOS deal. just for you of course. pm if interested.
