Charity shops ...

Has any one else noticed the proliferation of "charity shops" in recent years ...... I can remember a time gone when I wouldn't be seen dead in one ..............Well we are all in there now .. ( or most of us I think :) )

What does this indicate ... :scratch:

I just think it indicates that for those of us who still like our vinyl, there are bargains to be had amongst the James Last and scratched 'Music For Pleasure' releases that seem to be the charity shop's staple fare. With second-hand LPs fetching ever higher prices in the 'proper' record shops and on eBay, I think we all like the thought of picking up something worth a tenner+ for 99p...

This made me laugh, yep, I have been there, wading through the sound of music, occasionally flipping the next record and finding something worthwhile having. :lol:
