GEC KT88 Valve

Hi.

I've just got me a full set of GEC KT88's and so this one is going spare.

Unfortunately it has a broken guide pin but is tested and working. 3 ring Getters are still bright and evenly spaced.

GEC sticker is still there but not very easy to read.

I'm looking around £60 so do offer.

Paypal gift would be perfect.

Hi Joe,

Is the date code visible and has it been measured on a proper valve tester for emission, shorts, etc? If not, I doubt you'll get much interest, dude.

Unless you're desperate for the £60, I'd keep it as a spare, as you never know when vintage (or indeed any) valves will go pop. As much as GEC KT88s can last for years - it could happen anytime, such is the nature of them...

That's certainly what I'd do, but it's up to you :)

yeah... Thats a good idea matey. I think I'll keep it for what it's worth. Never had it tested so I might get it done.
