Hello, everybody.
I'm actually quite excited to be part of this Forum. I have held an intense interest in audio electronics & would (& still do) research whatever would peak my interest at the time, or research what equipment I owned at the time.
My current setup is a Sherwood RX-4109 200Watt stereo receiver, C.D.C. CH 5000 5 disc changer, SONY TC-W345 stereo dual deck cassette recorder & Cord iPod dock.

Hi Sam

Welcome to AoS. :)

Oooo - a cassette deck in your system - you're going to fit in well here!
... but what do you listen with? - you don't mention any speakers or headphones!

Thankyou, for the warm welcome.
I'm sorry, you're right, I didn't put my speakers in there. I was going to & forgot.
They are a pair of Sherwood Alto620 100W (Very smooth sounding, by the way), & an old pair of B&W speakers (although, interestingly, they have a little red "I" in italics after the "W". These are the only pair of B&W speakers I've seen them on, but that just might be me), & they are fantastic.

Hi Sam,
Welcome from me too!
It's great to have you here. What sort of music do you listen to?

Regarding the B&W's, I seem to remember that in the late 80's / early 90's the cheaper range (model no's 110 / 220 / 330) were revamped with an 'i' version & there was a red 'i' but that came after the model number (as in DM330i). I had a pair of 110's - they went bloody loud with not many watts & had a slightly tacky looking red coloured plastic ring around the periphery of the bass drivers - the pretend black ash veneer version had a blue ring (or was it the other way around?!)
