300B Question

I just wondered if any of you have any thoughts/experience on the Icon Audio 300B intergrated amp as i am rather tempted by one.

The speakers I have are JMLab Chorus 714S with a 91db sensitivity which I run at the moment through an 8 watt pair of monoblocks (Avreavox Arcana 82's) and a matching pre-amp (Avreavox Arcana 81).

Well 300b have a nice mid and treble when done right but can get easily pushed to far

91dB/W/m should do alright, providing the impedance doesn't dip too low.

Try them out. I've not been the biggest fan of Icon Audio show demos, but that might be bad circumstances. If you can solder then an alternative could be Audio Note Kit's kit 1.
