Hi Dominic, I didn't know if I should have PM'd you or put it on here but I guess there maybe others who maybe interested?

I have an old Koetsu Black from the 1990s which I loved but a couple of years ago it had to be retired as the result of a very long working life. I believe that you have worked on Supex cartridges and this tells me that you would know alot about the Koetsu Black? I was going to send it to ~Expert Stylus but you appear to really know about cartridges.... I can't afford a new one and have been giving some thought to an AT 33EV? I currently use a Linn Ekos that has been rewired by AO with Kondo silver wire from cartridge tags through to SME arm cable socket, from there to the pre-amp I use AO's Van Damme arm cable, the arm itself has had a bit of AO damping and sports a de-coupled counter weight... thought I would give you this info to help with any guidance you can give :)

If you prefer, you can PM info and a provisional estimate. Apart from usage wear the cartridge has not been abused and I have had it from sealed box new.

Thanks Dominic

Ron :)
