I've just stumbled across this with a Google search ... seems quite a while since The Emporium had a website.
This new one certainly looks good.

I've had quite a few dealings with Nick & Hughie - all of them A1 - - so I thought I'd give them a bit of a plug. :)
I've bought a few small bits and bobs from them via ebay and agree with your sentiments Jerry :)
I'll bookmark the site for future reference...

My company did their website through an ecommerce engine..
Hughie is a superb chap to deal with and bought many things from Emporium.

I had great service from them
Doubt that Audible Illusions Modulus 3 preamp will be there by the time I've rustled up the money to have a go!
+1 thumbs up for top service from Hughie.
My only experience of Emporium is a bit of an odd one - nothing to do with sales or anything.
I've only met them at an audiojumble: Nick going around at the end waving a big wadge of cash enticing stall holders into last minute discounted sales with a couple of groupies hanging back, quietly and constantly asking Nick's advice on everything and a small gang of err, big boned men in trackie bottoms and trainers slobbing about the Emporium annex (maybe there for the heavy lifting).
An unusual image for a hifi dealer but I welcome variety! A wierd social dynamic going on.
I tell a lie actually, I've bought a few magazines and they arrived the very next day so they're on the ball especially with having so much going on..
Excellent (and easily navigated, which isn't always the norm!) website - well done! :)
Marco.
Simple and quick to navigate.
I think a lot of places, probably because of their new brands etc, try to be too slick and just end up making the used area a bit restrictive.
They have a LOT of stock so I guess they have to do things differently.
I hope, by improving their website, they are attempting to take their sales away from eBay and PayPal..
