What about 'Monster Movie' & 'Sountracks' ?

Is the Live stuff: Koln 3rd Feb, 1972?

When I started working in a "proper" HiFi shop in 1974, I was introduced to some truly awesome huge speakers by IMF, JBL, AR (LST), Tannoys (slightly later - the run out of the Chatsworth and Lancaster and on to the HPD models) and the Crown electrostatic/12" bass hybrid, which cost a then frightening £1200pr. Guess which LP we used? Well, it was Halleluwa ('scuse spelling) from the original issue UK vinyl (United Artists). I soon bought the LP's for myself and it's become a long-time precious favourite of mine. The original CD sounded awful (eq'd tapes not re-eq'd for CD), but the remastering claims to have sorted this properly.

Would I buy it in an expensive vinyl/CD box set? Nah, but I shall get the remastered CD at some point and play it as loud as my geriatric system will allow (apparently, my amps are clipping all the time and all I'm hearing is distortion, not music - how we all suffered before active two ways with 6" main drivers came along.....)

Monster Movie is the only Can album I've got - on SACD as well. Really like it as well but dunno why I never tried any of their other albums.

I may go and get the 40th ann edition Tago Mago when it's released.
