Hi there.
Could anyone point me to a source for the circular blue led switches as used by Nick Gorham ( Lurcher) on his phono stages. I really fancy fitting y Modushop box based DIY tuned-up P10 effort.

Yep, those are they. Just beware, they are momentary contact switches, so you will need something to turn them into whatever control you need.

What exactly do you mean by needing something to turn them into whatever control is needed ? I was hoping it would show when the Piccolo is on, i.e. the board activated.

Ok, if you just want it as a indicator then no problem.

Thanks Gents for all the trouble,
A bit too complex for me methinks. Iīve had enough of PCBs, transformers and caps etc. etc. for now.
Whatīs wrong with a good old toggle switch on the back, I say.

Will the LED work independantly of the switch? The one I have has 5 connection points. One is common, one is on continuous, 1 is switched and the other two are + and - LED. Will connecting to these light the switch? :scratch:

Yes, as I said, if you just want it as a indicator then its fine. I use them via a AVR microcontroller to control startup mute and main power via solid state relay.

I did make up a batch of boards on audio-talk for this sort of controller. I dont have any left, but I am happy that if someone wants the gerber files, I will program up the controller for them.

If I use this part just as an indicator as Nick says, what voltage would be needed ? it mentions a max of 24v. Would 3.5v be enough īcos thatīs what my Hagerman Piccolo provides for the Led presently fitted.
I realise itīs overkill but I repeat, my reasons for using this part are aesthetic. Could I just swap them, would it light up ?

There is a useful calculator available, just tell it the voltage and current needs for your led and the supply voltage and it will give the resistor value and wattage needed.
