View Full Version : Andris in the house!
Hi all,
Was directed here from AV Forums where I've been member for some time. Need some advice on modding my Technics 1210 so no doubt will speak to some of you good people ;).
My name is Andris and i'm 31 years young (or maybe old ). I live in sunny Scotland. Have done so for last 7 years and stay in the heart of highlands - Inverness. Originally come from Latvia.

Hi Andris,
Welcome to the forum :) .
Before the compliance officers (aka Mods) come after you can I suggest that you post briefly in the Welcome area with some information about your kit (the other bits) and your tastes in music.
Lots of good info on here about modding Techies - nowhere better:)
Cheers,
Dave.
Hi Andris, and welcome to AoS (Dave obviously should've gone to Specsavers, because you have posted this in the Welcome section - unless someone has already moved it, in which case, apologies to Dave!) - however Dave is right in that we would love to hear a bit more about your system, and your musical tastes. Oh, and yes, the best place possible for Technics modding! ;)
Enjoy the forum. :)

I did post in the right section ;).
OK, as for my kit then nothing really is there. Well, not for a proper 2ch audiophile set up.
I'm in process to invest in some new kit i.e. dedicated 2ch amp, CD player and new/better speakers. At the moment i have following: Technics SL-1210MK2 for Vinyl, Toshiba HD-XE1 for CD, Onkyo TX-SR606 for amplification and Mordaunt-Short Avant 904i speakers.
As for music taste then i like a bit of everything however, i really enjoying listening to Deep House :).
And thanks for the Welcome guys :).
