Hi all,
I'm Massi, I'm based in Leeds.
My main system is headphones based, I just "migrated" to Stax after many years with dynamics.

I use a Linux MPD server as transport, with the Halide Bridge USB/SPDIF converter into an Havana dac.
The amp is now a 323S driving some SR 507. Actually I'm waiting for the headphones and amp to be delivered :-)
Been using a WooAudio 3 with HD650 for a long time, but as soon as I listen to a basic 2050 system I decided to sell everything and invest on Stax.
I also a have a Onkyo ND-S1 dock with a 160GB iPod Classic...really love this device.
My portable rig is a simple iPod + Fiio E7 and Etys ER4S.

I listen only to classical, mostly baroque.

Definitely Chris!
Even with a basic (and cheap, if bought used) 2050 system you can get an amazing sound quality. But I hope the 507 will bring things to a different level.

But my concern is now the source, a Stax system is so transparent and sensitive to the rest of chain.
