I'm interested in trying some Focal speakers but not sure as to what might rock my boat so am open to all models within budget , primarily interested in floorstanders but bookshelf will be considered .

Budget is up to £2000 so please get back to me via here as to what is available , anything from the lower regions all the way to higher up the Focal range is fine , trade or private .

Got a pair of focal micro utopia be with matching stands in the classic finish for £1750, if they're any interest?

focals are really good , chap on pfm also selling some micro utopia
i use the 1028be which is superb , very detailed and brilliant bass

these mint cond 1007be are a bargain

Thanks for the info , I really want to try some floorstanders but if by the end of the week I have not got any further I'll investigate bookshelf speakers further .

Yes indeed , I was fortunate enough to have a home demo the last few days by a dealer who lent me a set that are unfortunately not available to purchase , one of his staff obliged .

I loved them , so much so the hunt is on .

I'd appreciate any links or pointers to private or dealer sales , I'm not too familiar with the dealers out there other than a google search result .

will keep a look out however the micro utopia is very special indeed. real sense of `presence`. i would certainly consider them , you will be shocked how good they are , most certainly better than the 1027 [imho]

Yes , what is your best price as a private sale ?

I have sourced some at a dealer , won't be in for 4 weeks though , his price is less than yours with warranty so it needs to be very competetive .
