According to the consultant this morning, I'm officially now in remission re the blood cancer. Interesting!
NHS outstanding care plus my ethos of 'no fears and no tears' seem to have brought me back from the brink. A curious feeling indeed and a very interesting 'trip' too - but not necessarily recommended.
Regards.
Howard.

I am glad you are on the mend because I have just ordered Blue Merle on the strength of your recommendation. I can tell you off if I don't like it. Cost 1 pence by the way.
That's good news Howard, I'll raise a glass to you later and play some John Mayall :)

While I'm new here, that shouldn't preclude me from giving congrats on this. Excellent news.
Having been through a particularly tough time with my partners health of late, I'm sure your sense of relief is somewhere near what we have felt.
Good to hear praise for the NHS as well. Equally, when the chips were down they have been brilliant.

Hi ikaruga,
Good to hear that the NHS was there for you and your partner when 'push came tp shove', but for how much longer I wonder. Health should not be any more dependant on wealth than it already is, IMHO. Please consider signing the petition and let your MP know how you feel about the NHS: -

Excellent news..
As someone who is also suffering from a nasty health scare earlier in the year, I know how you must be feeling. Keep at it. :)
