a similar thread exists on pfm by midland audio exchange I think, I posted some items I had, kept doing it again and again, the prices offered were pathetic to say the least, so when you say the right kit what exactly do you mean boss?

Re dealers buying prices, this varies from dealer to dealer but working on the basis of thirds is a common enough practice in many retail (new or S/H) businesses. I for one see nothing wrong in this. Person A wants to sell Person B offers the wrong money for person A simples move on and sell elsewhere or do it yourself. So another snipe at dealers is not required especially on a Trade thread. So please desist from doing so again as your comment is Off topic.

my post was not a snipe at the dealers at all. Hifi,2nd hand cars & motorcyles or whatever,no difference they are hardly likely to offer you the glasses trade when you wander in the showroom they will make a rock bottom offer, you take it or leave it simple as,thats the point I was making.
