I am from Holland and i am a fan of the classics Philips & Marantz gear.
Specially gear with the TDA1541 d/a converters.

I currently use a Marantz project D-1 and a Marantz CD-7:

I use it to stream my music from my NAS. I also have a Genesis digital lens, which tries to remove the jitter from the digital stream.

Currently i have my CD-7 for sale. If you are interested, i have photos of it on my website:

My current setup:

- Marantz CD-7 cdplayer
- Marantz project D-1 d/a converter
- Genesis digital lens jitter killer
- squeezebox receiver
- BK Gemini sub
- B&W cm1 speakers

Thx! :)

You are very lucky indeed to have a Project D Dac, however the Marantz CD7 benefits from proper isolation so resting it on two bits of Cyrus kit is doing it no favours. Frankly you have imho/e still to hear what it can do. Can't speak about the DAC but again it might benefit from proper isolation too.

Thank you. What isolation would you recommend?

Hi "DAC",

Welcome to AoS - you have very nice gear! :)

Could you please pop into the Welcome area, on your next visit, and say 'hello', by telling us your real first name, what system you've got (listing the components would be good, even though you've supplied a photo) and what music you like?

This procedure is required of all new members joining our community, before posting on the main forum - cheers!

Marco.

Try three RDC cones one under the transport one under the transformer and one to balance, to start with.
