Hi, for sale is my michell gyro se,spider dec.
Comes with
orb platter,record clamp,denso damp upgrades
michell uni cover
HR psu
rega arm board
de coupleing ring
All mint condition and like new its had around 50hrs use
Cost new £1950
Avid support is not inc
Asking £1200
I would rather the dec be collected but I would post if needed cost would be £60 insured delivery, I dont have the box but it would be well packed I have 881 feedback on ebay so I have done alot of packing. I have also made 2 other sales on this site with no problems.
Payment would be cash on collection or bank trans only

I wish I could make you an offer Jason as I've always lusted after a Gyro, but cash is currently in very short supply :(
Hi Dave, thats a shame, I'm gutted to be selling it to be honest but due to space and living in a flat where I can only listen on low volumes I have decided a downgrade is for the best.

very nice deck for someone here... this should be gone.
I speak of experience as I had an identical one. Classic in performance and design.
If funds weren't so tight just now, believe me it would be sitting here in my system... *sighs* :(
Hi I was hoping the same mate I thought it would have been snapped up, I think a standard gyro costs £1200 now so I think its a bargain at the price. I suppose the right man will snap it up soon.
Well its not going in any hurry Dave so if you start saving it could be still sat here LOL

Well, I'm putting my Kona mountain bike on eBay this week (been meaning to do it for months now :lol:) and hoping to get £400+ for it so ya never know ;)
Good luck with the sale anyway Jason, it's a superb example and I'm astounded it is still here to be honest. C'mon folks, this is a stunning TT and you might not find another in this condition and for such a fair price for quite a while. Treat yourself to an early Xmas prezzie... :christmas:

With due respect the asking price may be a little steep given that the Orbe platter mod is not liked by many. If you have the original platter and state so it may make it more attractive. The Denso damping is not thought to benefit the standard Gyro. All works nicely on a full Orbe though so a case of subtle balancing of the sound. If I was going for Orbe I'd sell the Gyro as is and purchase new (which is probably more cost effective). This is purely a suggestion from a neutral stance as I am not interested in purchasing. Best of luck with the sale.

Ha Ha thanks for the support Dave, Paul the orb platter made a huge differance to the decks perfomance to be honest it sounded pretty weak before adding the orb platter, price wise I think it's quite cheap this set up costs just over £2200 so half price must be a bargain. The same set ex demo sold on ebay a month ago for £1200 without the unicover and had a cracked moter case also had some marks from use. To be honest I would rather keep it than sell for less than £1100.

Hi, just to let members know I am now ending the sale of the deck, after 9 months I give in LOL. I have decieded to rebuild my system around it again once I can afford, so hopefully I will have a system to show off soon...
