hi there,
My names Max, i'm 49 from bristol in UK, though only moved here from brighton a year ago. not really a hi-fi buff/fanatic, but like music and love vinyl, and have a half decent seperate system to listen to it on. I was a punk from the late 70's, then a psychobilly, then happy hardcore and trance. only music that i really really dont like? jazz! and 24 hour solo guitar w*nks! :steam:(still cant listen to led zep, the enemy from 1977!), apart from that my musical heroes are the ramones (1st album, 30 mins long, 14 tracks! brilliant), hank williams Snr, genesis p orridge, and of course the mighty northern rantmeister, mark e smith! do buy cd's, but have so far resisted the lure of an mp3/ipod. i did however invest in a minidisc player (and no! i didnt have a betamax as well). I joined this website as i was looking at getting my records cleaned and saw an ad for the monk machine, checked out prices and thought WHOA! no way!, them the wonders of google led me here!
