I am looking at building myself a new tonearm cable can any recomend a wire that would be suitable

It is an mc

I have a silver cable from revelation audio on the way but this will be about a month away

I did not pay that amount

I need to build myself a cable as i will have to wait for a month for the RA cable and i have a stack of vinyl waiting to be played

That's a good cable but obviously not in the same leauge as the revelation money wise.

I'd find some Cardas or similar (Discovery, etc). Use a 5' run of 5 conductor from headshell to phono stage. All you need are cartridge clips, a ground "eyelet" and 2 good quality RCA male ends.

Fewer cable "interfaces"= better sound and less soldering:)
