$1000.00 is a lot of money for an arm cable!
I did not pay that amount
I need to build myself a cable as i will have to wait for a month for the RA cable and i have a stack of vinyl waiting to be played

Get some loose Kimber 'KCAG' If that's to dear PSB-J...

No need for sheilding with MC cart..
I'd find some Cardas or similar (Discovery, etc). Use a 5' run of 5 conductor from headshell to phono stage. All you need are cartridge clips, a ground "eyelet" and 2 good quality RCA male ends.
Fewer cable "interfaces"= better sound and less soldering:)
