We had a great day out visiting Chirk Castle, which was a quite fascinating place, followed by a superb meal and more than a few drinkies (thankfully my dad was driving) at The Hand pub/restaurant in Llanarmon DC, in the breathtakingly beautiful Ceiriog valley that has always been one of our favourite spots......
