Hello everyone

My name is Edward I live in the state of Georgia in the US. I have a background in Automotive Computer Aided Design 20+ years product development. I have been a lover of good music of every type all of my life. For about the past 10-12 years I have been into computer audio with the last 5 or so using Linux. Hi Ed,
Here's a warm welcome from me!

Currently I have two full systems, on big and one small. The big system uses Squeezebox Touch front end with an Audiogd Ref 7 Dac, I use a TCKonnekt Level Pilot for volume control and it is feeding a pair of TAD Hibachi mono blocks...from there the signal goes to a pair of Dynaudio speaker Audience 80.

My smaller system uses again a Squeezebox Touch feeding an Audiogd Ref 5 Dac feeding a pair of powered Dynaudio speakers directly.

I have a Vintage Marantz receiver with a Valab Dac connected to a Linux computer which serves as both a music player using Music Player Daemon and a Squeezebox server. I listen to the Marantz setup primarily with headphones...a pair of Fischer audio FA011 or a pair of Grado SR80.

My musical tastes include everything...as long as they use real instruments and the person has a good voice. From Nina Simone to Bela Fleck to Acid Jazz artist to Pink Floyd I have and enjoy it all:)

My philosophy is that everything matters and can change the sound. I respect everyones opinion in reference to their personal abilities with their senses, we all taste, hear, smell, and feel thing differently. Its all about enjoying the hobby and the music no matter what the cost or name brand of the gear, everything can sound great. But most of all good music sounds great no matter what its being played though:)

My web site has a lot of detailed information about the other gear I have owned and information about audio as well, please read and enjoy!!
