SWAP: Denon DL-304 for MM

Hi All,

Possible swap of Denon DL-304 for an equivalent Moving Magnet cartridge.

I have a denon DL-304 and my system doesn't really have enough gain to whallop out the tunes while playing vinyl. Has a fantastic sound, but would benefit from a better phono stage than I have. Plus I made the mistake of buying the wife Adele's new album on vinyl and any time I get home to find her playing it, my system is up full whack. :doh:

The cartridge has had very few hours playing and has been well looked after.

Hi Nathan. Not sure if you have heard the Shure carts but believe me they are every bit as good as most modern carts, if not better in some cases.

Recently moved from a Ortofon Rondo Red MC cart to a Shure V15 with a Jico SAS stylus and it's mindbendingly good.

So I wouldn't discount it because of it's age in my opinion.
